In October TISA high school arts students took their annual art trip - this time to the Netherlands. Students got to see the works of renown Dutch artists Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Escher and Vermeer along with many international masters. In addition, students took part in workshops responding to the work, and learning new techniques. The goal of the art trip was to give students the opportunity to experience and critique the work of international artists both contemporary and historical. The hope is for art students to come back more knowledgeable, inspired, and ready to show some of what they’ve discovered in their studio practice back at TISA.
