Eight art teachers from around the CEESA region spent two days sharing and learning about Arts Education from Primary to Secondary school. We discussed and built our understanding of concept-based learning and assessment in the arts. A short distance from Baku is the World heritage site of Qobustan. We took full advantage of this unique art culture viewing the Petroglyphs and a state-of-the-art interactive museum. On the second day we continued our discussions on digital technology and integration of culture and social projects. It was not however just work, work, work - we also shared skills and created beautiful art aprons using a bleach spray technique. In the afternoon we visited the carpet museum and bought a carpet.
