P4 Recycle Paper Campaign

We need your help please bring in old newspapers, magazines, wrapping paper, used colouring paper and cardboard.

The P4 students have been busy with their Unit of Inquiry, 'Sharing the Planet’ with the central idea: ‘The ways people manage waste impacts our environment’. The students have been actively reusing cardboard, paper, plastic for a variety of activities.

Last week we were put in touch with Azersun who are also moving more into recycling paper in Azerbaijan. They informed us for every tonne of paper TISA would receive 7 trees for the playground. The students jumped on this idea and have taken action setting up a paper recycling area in TISA 1 and made a video to promote this action.

We would like to thank Azersun for assisting in this action and hope that everyone in the community and school gets involved by bringing in their used paper paper to support this worth while cause.
