TISA uses social media in mindful and purposeful ways to further our TISA Mission: to Engage, Empower, and Inspire both the TISA Community, and connect with a world-wide audience to share our TISA stories.
TISA maintains Official social media accounts and the TISA Website; and current TISA staff and students maintain a range of TISA Affiliated social media accounts (see below). These TISA social media channels communicate information about TISA learning, events, and community.
The TISA Official social media channels offer more school news, official communications, and promotional materials; while the TISA Affiliated social media channels offer a deeper look into more student-centered content.

At TISA Secondary we work hard to ensure that every student feels heard, cared for, and connected to the community. The foundation of this effort is the TAO Curriculum where students connect in small groups with each other, their teachers, and the wider community. The School Counselors in the Secondary work collaboratively with the Pastoral/TAO team leaders, parents, students, and staff to support this goal. The secondary counseling team engages both as support for the wider community and work with students and families more directly through the following:
- Classroom, Individual and Small Group Counseling
- Parent Consults and Workshops
- Transitions Support
- TAO Lessons
- Faculty Partnering
- Individual meetings with students and families
- Child Safeguarding including the Keeping Safe Curriculum
- Referrals (to external resources as needed)
- Future Planning (College/Career Counseling)
A Culture of Creators
At TISA, we believe that academic integrity is a disposition, not a set of rules or a static definition. Academic integrity is a commitment to boldly expressing knowledge in our own unique ways. To this end:
We believe that academic integrity is a part of school culture, embedded at every level. Our expectation is that all community members adhere to and support TISA's Academic Integrity Policy. Click below to view the responsibilities of our community members and view the full policy.
