Welcome to the website of The International School of Azerbaijan. TISA offers a Post-16 Program for ages (16-19), the IB Middle Years Programme (Ages 11-15) and the IB Primary Years Programme (Ages 3-10). TISA is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and is an IB World School.

There are 550 students in the school from ages 2-18 years old. Instruction is in English. As an international school, TISA promotes "international mindedness". We support students to become inquirers, thinkers, communicators, risk-takers, knowledgeable, principled, caring, open-minded, well-balanced and reflective. We also acknowledge that students have different learning styles and progress at different rates. Our facilities and resources are excellent and we have a busy and varied programme of activities, trips, visits and sports.

Through many changes and developments in the last ten years, TISA`s strategic plan remains firmly focused on learning. We are always seeking to raise student expectations and are always trying to ensure that every student has the best preparation for the future that we can give them. We firmly believe that students at TISA are “prepared to make a difference”. We hope that your children will become active, enquiring learners when they join the TISA community and that our well-qualified and committed faculty, our small class sizes, and our excellent resources and facilities will support them in their own pursuit of excellence.
