Our Students
Our primary school population exemplifies that of a true international school; multi-cultural, diverse, engaging, confident, accepting, and fun-loving. Our Program
The PYP offers an inquiry-based curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding. It is a student-centered approach to education for children aged 3-12. It reflects the best of educational research, thought leadership, and experience derived from IB World Schools.
The PYP has evolved to become a world leader in future-focused education. The PYP is an example of best educational practice globally, responding to the challenges and opportunities facing young students in our rapidly changing world. The transdisciplinary nature of the PYP allows students to gain greater perspective, seeing their learning through multiple lenses in the arts, physical education and foreign languages. Support services, including highly capable EAL and SEN departments and a school counsellor, are on hand to guide students with additional needs, to reach high educational goals. Co-curricular activities, such as school productions and service learning, add value and richness to our core curriculum. Sports, artistic and cultural extra-curricular activities finish our program offering.
Our students’ interests, both academic and social, are central to all of our programmes at TISA, and we actively encourage student voice. This, combined with strong connections to our parent community, has resulted in developing a thriving, successful, and exciting Primary school.
